Islam is a complete code of life. Allah has created man for his worship. He has sent many messengers for the guidance of human beings. Hazrat Muhammad (P.B.U.H) was the last messenger. Last Prophet (P.B.U.H) guides us about all-Best virtues In Islam which make us a pious Muslim. Allah has declared Islam as the best religion for all humanity.

Islam teaches us about every role of life. There are some great virtues in Islam that make Muslims superior to all others. These virtues lead us towards an exemplary life however also assist us in leading a balanced and successful life.

Allah teaches about these virtues through Quran and Hazrat Muhammad leads an exemplary life with these virtues by practical. Above all, Hazrat Muhammad was the perfect messenger of Allah. In fact, He has also taught with an example regarding every role of life. Certainly, we can become pious followers of Islam by following these Virtues too.

Best Virtues in Islam

Islam is a religion of peace for the entire universe. Its teaching is mainly divided into two categories.

Right Of Allah(Haqooq Allah)

Right Of People(Haqooq ul Ibad)

Islam ordered to worship Allah however it also encourages Haqooq Ul Ibad. Most importantly, there are strict rules, punishment for the negligence of Haqooq Allah and Haqooq Ibad. Above all, these virtues help us lead a good life and also complete our both rights in the best way.

Kindness

Islam is a kind religion not only or his followers but also for his enemies. Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.U.H) used to merciful and kind even with its worse enemies. In fact, it is the only religion that has made such a large impact on the universe.

As Muslims, we must follow the teachings and Sunnah of our Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H). The enemies of Islam also admired the character of Hazrat Muhammad because of his kindness. Islam ordered to be kind with slaves, animals, women, and every human being. In fact, Islam has specific laws for prisoners, enemies, even in war.

ثُمَّ قَفَّيْنَا عَلَىٰ آثَارِهِم بِرُسُلِنَا وَقَفَّيْنَا بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ وَآتَيْنَاهُ الْإِنجِيلَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِي قُلُوبِ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوهُ رَأْفَةً وَرَحْمَةً

Then We sent Our messengers in their footsteps and followed them with Jesus, the son of Mary, and gave him the Gospel. We placed in the hearts of those who followed him kindness and mercy.

Surah Al-Hadeed 57:27

Forgiveness

Muslims are brothers with each other. Above all, in Islam, it prefers to forgive others even for mistakes. In fact, we as Muslims believe that Allah has the ultimate powers. We are not allowed to suffer anyone from our hands and even from our tongue. In this materialistic, there can be misfortunes or miss happening with us. We are preferred to forgive others for the sake of Allah.

وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا ۗ أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ

Let them pardon and overlook. Would you not love for Allah to forgive you? Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

Surah An-Nur 24:22

Honesty

Muhammad(P.B.U.H) was known as Sadiq which means truthful. All Muslims are strictly obliged to be honest and truthful. In fact, in today’s times, it’s very important as people will believe and attract a trustworthy person. Above all,  it plays a vital role in business and trade.

There are multiple Quran verses and Hadees of Holy Prophet(P.B.U.H) regarding honesty. A true Muslim also never try to cheat others for his personal benefits. Besides, he always completes his promises too. Most importantly always fear from Allah in its every dealing.

Narrated Ma’qil (RA): I heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying, “Any man whom Allah has given the authority of ruling some people and he does not look after them in an honest manner, will never feel even the smell of Paradise.”

Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih al-Bukhari

Generosity

Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.U.H) was also very generous. Above all,  Islam is the only religion that focuses on helping others through money. Most importantly, Zakat is a good way of charity.

Muslims strongly believe that wealth is the blessing of Allah. Allah also promises to maximize the wealth spent in his way or used to help others. In fact, Islam encourages generosity with relatives, travelers, servants, and everyone. Muslims are always generous with helping others as we believe in brotherhood.

Sahl ibn Sa’d reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is generous. He loves generosity and exalted character, and He detests pettiness.”

Gratitude

Allah has created us with all the blessings only for His worship. He is the one who provides us health, wealth, and all the necessities of life. Muslims always gratitude to the almighty God for all His blessings. We used to perform prayers as thanksgiving.

Islam is the only religion that has maximum followers. The best thing is that Islam followers are more practical in their religion. In Fact, there are plenty of Muslims who perform regular Prayers five times a day. Muslims also chants the Tasbeeh in which they praise their God and Thanks for blessings.

Ibn Abbas reported: The Prophet, peace, and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, the believer is in good shape in every situation. He praises Allah Almighty even while his soul is taken out of his body.”

Justice

Justice matters the most for the success of every nation, state or country. Islam treats everyone with the same equality. There are strict punishments in Islam with justice. It’s because it plays a major role in society.

Justice removes the evil from society. Above all, it assists us to be more followers of the rules and regulations. Hazrat Umer (R.A) was very famous for its justice. There are multiple examples in which Muslims made strict decisions even for their love ones to complete justice.

Quran is also a great book of all knowledge. There are every rights, responsibilities, and rules mention for everything. All Muslims are strictly obliged to follow the rules and regulations of Islam. 

فَأَصْلِحُوا بَيْنَهُمَا بِالْعَدْلِ وَأَقْسِطُوا إِنَّ اللَّهَ يُحِبُّ الْمُقْسِطِينَ

So reconcile between them in justice and fairness. Verily, Allah loves those who are just.

Surah Al-Hujurat 49:9

Charity

Most important virtue which has the greatest rewards and blessings from Allah. It’s great for purification money. Muslims used to perform Zakat, Usher from their wealth. Above all, we are also obliged to help others financially.

The best thing is that in Islam they are rules of charity as well. It allows a charity to the only needy one. We also must charity with complete secrecy. Allah multiple the wealth of those who spend in the way of God.

مَن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ وَلَهُ أَجْرٌ كَرِيمٌ

Who is it that will offer up unto God a goodly loan, which He will amply repay? For, such (as do so) shall have a noble reward.

Surah Al—Hadid, 57:11

Patience

Islam is a religion of peace and harmony. Most importantly, it always encourages his followers to be patient. Certainly, this patience can regard poverty, bad luck, misfortunes or anyone. Islam doesn’t allow to harm even animals.

Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.U.H) used to soft and kind with their enemies and even forgive them. A Muslim believes in God and looks for an afterlife. We must live a life with patience even in problems and diseases.

Discipline

In the whole universe, everything created by Allah has a particular order and totally disciplined. Muslims must also follow all the prayer’s time to be discipline too. Of course, it’s a great way of living a disciplined life and Muslims are ordered too.

Simplicity

Islam prefers a simple lifestyle.  It has multiple benefits in this world and the afterlife. Islam forbids the excess use of money on a luxury. It’s a great virtue of Islam.
